Overview
"Guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Confined Field Trials of Regulated,Genetically Engineered (GE) Plants"

A set of guidelines for conduct of field trials of regulated genetically engineered plans and Standards Operating Procedures (SOPs) have been approved by RCGM and GEAC in June 2008. The Guidelines describe the application process and general requirements for confined field trials and the SOPs are for transport, storage, management, harvest/termination and post harvest management during the conduct of the trials. All applicants are requested to follow the above for conducting confined trials. Records in appropriate recording formats should be completed for each trial and made available to monitoring teams.
